Farmaprojects Onboarding Experience: An annual journey to Poland

At Farmaprojects, we believe that onboarding is more than just an introduction, it’s an essential step in helping new employees integrate into our company culture and operations. We want everyone to feel welcome and prepared to start the journey with us.

That’s why we give new team members the opportunity to meet their colleagues in Barcelona through customized introductory sessions with each department and engaging lunches together, combined with the chance to get to know our Polpharma team and the Group’s various facilities.

The highlight of our onboarding program is our annual trip to Poland, where we bring together all new hires from the past year for an immersive experience. This trip is not only an opportunity to learn about our company but also a chance to build relationships and foster team spirit. We visit our manufacturing plants, R&D centers and headquarters, while blending in cultural and leisure activities to connect with the local culture.

In today’s post we look back at our last onboarding trip in May. Our group was formed by 15 people from different departments covering RA, Quality, Portfolio, Finance, Business Development, Market Intelligence, HR and Brand.

Day 1: Visiting headquarters

Our trip started in Warsaw, where we kicked off the day with introductory sessions led by Polpharma’s Head of Human Resources, Kasia Sejwa, followed by the Head of Finance Wojtek Rosa and a deep dive into the marketing API department with Magdalena Kuć-Kawczyńska. After lunchtime we explored Warsaw’s most interesting sights and wrapped up the day with a great dinner in the beautiful Ujazdowski Castle.

Day 2: Exploring Polpharma’s Starogard Gdański plants

We took an early train to the city of Tczew and a transfer to reach Starogard Gdański, where one of Polpharma’s most important facilities is located. We started with a guided visit of the API plant, and then entered the solid forms plant, which gave us a broad overview of the dimensions and production potential of Polpharma’s facilities.

Day 3: B2B sessions in Gdańsk

We wrapped up our trip with a deep dive into critical topics and strategies of Polpharma’s B2B unit in a series of sessions in Gdańsk’s CUBE Office Park, led by Pawel Muszynski and Michal Radowski. After a farewell lunch with our fellow colleagues from Gdańsk we flew back to Barcelona.

We are already looking forward to next year’s onboarding trip. Maybe even with you as our new team member? Apply today and join our family, we’d love to hear about you!

Reach out, we’re always listening.
